A Love Letter to: Choosing Keeping

Choosing Keeping is one of the most beautifully curated stationery shops in London.

I fell in love with their selection of pens, sumi-e inks, washi paper and nostalgia-inducing notebooks back when their shop was based on Columbia Road.

They’re now based near Covent Garden, and I often go there to find inspiration for my writing process.

It's where I purchased a lot of the props we used when created my first book, Japonisme.

I used to spend all of my pocket money during the summer holidays in Japan at the stationery shop near my aunt’s house in Tokyo, and whenever I go to Choosing Keeping and see the same notebooks, or scented erasers, I’m immediately transported back!
