Sushi Kanesaka

I was incredibly lucky to review Sushi Kanesaka in Mayfair for the very first piece I did for Time Out!

You can read my review in full on the website, but it was a sensational experience. Muted elegance and simplicity, and the craft behind the omakase was sublime. I was in awe of the incredible team at work there, and I found it utterly inspirational.

It was magical and transformative, but the cost of the meal is unfortunately so prohibitively expensive that I wouldn’t be able to afford to eat there again very easily. That being said, for the price you do get the most incredible ingredients, and demonstration of knowledge and expertise.

They strongly discourage photography, but I managed to get these snaps on my phone, if you’re keen to get a sneak peek!
