WA Cafe
One of my favourite places to get Japanese pastries in London is WA Cafe.
They have a couple of locations, but I’m a big fan of their Covent Garden one. I’m a sucker for their mid-week deal, where you can get 5 pastries for £12.
Melon pan, one of the staples, is a firm favourite of mine - so much so I wrote a short story about it for Pot Luck Zine a while back!
Their patisserie selection is also excellent - the strawberry shortcakes, Mont Blancs and matcha tiramisu are incredible.
It’s so good that I ended up sticking it on my list for Time Out, too!
